Arizona artist Nancy Christy-Moore,an internationally recognized, award winning painter brings the joy of color, energy and movement to her abstract mixed watermedia work.

Education at Columbia College, Columbia, Missouri, the American Academy of Art in Chicago, and Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles led her into teaching and exhibiting her work for the past thirty-plus years.

Nancy works exclusively in watermedia in a process she’s developed which she calls “Inner Painting”.

Her colorful, highly textured horse paintings reflect her life-long love of horses and speaks to the power and energy she connects with when painting them.

Her brightly colored florals and abstracts reveal her underlying romance with color combinations and subtleties of textures.

Workshops & Classes

Students explore their inner creativity and further personal growth. One main workshop is “Fun with Mixed Media and Rice Paper Collage,” an excellent class for both beginners and the more seasoned artist. The other workshop, “Possibilities”, is a minimum two-day class for seasoned watermedia artists covering texturing and pouring pigments. Students are encouraged always to express their personal style of creativity. See top menu under “Teaching” for scheduled workshops.
